Till Rohrmann commented on FLINK-12662: --------------------------------------- The idea of the history server is that it is used to archive jobs. Jobs which fail over and are still running are not intended to be stored on the {{HistoryServer}}. Is this what you meant with this issue [~ralphsu]? Or do you want that restart attempts are visible once a job has finished for later analysis? > Flink how jobs for failover in history server as well > ----------------------------------------------------- > > Key: FLINK-12662 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-12662 > Project: Flink > Issue Type: Improvement > Reporter: Su Ralph > Priority: Major > > Currently > [https://ci.apache.org/projects/flink/flink-docs-release-1.8/monitoring/historyserver.html] > only show the completed jobs (completd, cancel, failed).
