Boris Lublinsky commented on FLINK-9953: ---------------------------------------- I have just opened source 2 projects: [https://github.com/lightbend/fdp-flink-build] covering 4 and 5. It is a combination of a standard one and the one for job server - [https://github.com/apache/flink/blob/release-1.8/flink-container/docker/docker-entrypoint.sh], so that you can use a single image for all deployments. [https://github.com/lightbend/fdp-flink-operator] Scala implementation of Flink operator based on [https://github.com/jvm-operators/abstract-operator], which is based on Fabric8, Implementation supports create/update/delete/reconcile, but not HA. Waiting on https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-11105. Feel free to use these 2 projects or we can cooperate on using them for the final version > Active Kubernetes integration > ----------------------------- > > Key: FLINK-9953 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-9953 > Project: Flink > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: Runtime / Coordination > Reporter: Till Rohrmann > Assignee: Chunhui Shi > Priority: Major > > This is the umbrella issue tracking Flink's active Kubernetes integration. > Active means in this context that the {{ResourceManager}} can talk to > Kubernetes to launch new pods similar to Flink's Yarn and Mesos integration. > > Document can be found here: > [https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Zmhui_29VASPcBOEqyMWnF3L6WEWZ4kedrCqya0WaAk/edit?usp=sharing] > -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v7.6.3#76005)
