dawidwys opened a new pull request #7187: [Flink-7603] Support for WITHIN
clause in MATCH_RECOGNIZE
URL: https://github.com/apache/flink/pull/7187

   ## What is the purpose of the change

This PR introduces support for WITHIN clause in MATCH_RECOGNIZE that allows
adding time constraint for the pattern. It reuses the `within` function
`Pattern` in CEP library. The behavior is such that the difference between
first row in a match and last row in a match must be smaller than the given
period. The `WITHIN` clause accepts only constant interval value.

   ## Brief change log

   *(for example:)*
     - Translating WTIHIN clause to `Pattern.within`
     - Updated documentation

   ## Verifying this change
This change added tests and can be verified as follows:
     - `PatternTranslatorTest#testWithinClause`
     - `PatternTranslatorTest#testWithinClauseWithYearMonthResolution`
