I'm surprised that you're still able to use `HadoopUserOverlay` when
`UserGroupInformation` is not on the classpath, even though the field value is
null I would have expected a class load error. Whatever works, I guess! It
would frankly be better to not install the module in this scenario but that's a
bigger change.
