Suppose you've taken a savepoint simply to manage a rescaling or redeployment. How quickly after resuming from the savepoint is it safe to delete it? Should one wait until the new job has been successfully checkpointed, for example? > Update savepoint documentation > ------------------------------ > > Key: FLINK-6782 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-6782 > Project: Flink > Issue Type: Sub-task > Components: Documentation, State Backends, Checkpointing > Affects Versions: 1.3.0 > Reporter: Nico Kruber > Assignee: Nico Kruber > Fix For: 1.3.0 > > > Savepoint documentation is a bit outdated regarding full data being stored in > the savepoint path, not just a metadata file -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.15#6346)
