Maybe I wasn't clear about what SWF to run.  I am assuming you are have a 
working example using Apache Flex 4.xx that uses mx:RemoteObject.  I am 
assuming when you run that working example you get the right information back.  
Comparing what that properly working SWF does vs what the JS code is doing will 
hopefully shed some light on what the problem is.
