Alex Harui commented on FLEX-35183: ----------------------------------- I looked at it too. IMO, it just needs to report an error and bail when it hits EOF. I don't see any problem reporting at all in the MXML lexer/tokenizer. It is probably time to add some. If you want to work on it I can certainly find other things to do. > Unclosed comment in MXML leads to infinite loop in compiler > ----------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: FLEX-35183 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLEX-35183 > Project: Apache Flex > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Falcon > Affects Versions: Apache FlexJS 0.8.0 > Reporter: Josh Tynjala > > Try to compile the following MXML application: > <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> > <js:Application xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009" > xmlns:js="library://ns.apache.org/flexjs/basic"> > <!-- > </js:Application> > The compiler will get stuck in an infinite loop. > If you close the comment with -->, the application will compile successfully. > See also: FLEX-35184 -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
