Yes,
as mentioned above I also found that by simply trying it out and I know that 
there are MTOM tests for camel-cxf but none of them seem to test whether the 
MTOM conversion was really executed. Do I have to create a new ticket on Camel 
or can this ticket be forwarded to camel?
