Yeah, [~johndament], I have merged it, should be fine, CDI test cases pass. For 
master we do need to fix the overlap between ResourceUtils.createApplication 
and the work JAXRSCdiResourceExtension is doing. I created this guy to track 
that: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CXF-6995.
