has a typo. It should be
$\{basedir\}/src/main/resources/wadl
instead of
$\{basedir\}/src/main/resources/wad
Note the missing "l"
Workaround is obvious: include
<wadlRoot>$\{basedir\}/src/main/resources/wadl</wadlRoot>
in your configuration.
