Christian Schneider commented on CXF-6706:
------------------------------------------

Fully agree with using the official hibernate feature in the future. At the
moment we have the problem with the wrap: usage. This should be fixed in the
next version though. So I will propose in the karaf dev list that we do not
include any new hibernate features in the enterprise feature file and instead
document to use the official feature file from hibernate.
I have already added the hibernate feature url to
org.apache.karaf.features.cfg. So people can add the hibernate feature using
feature:repo-add hibernate <version>.

Many thanks for your help in ironing out the remaining problems.

> Using Karaf 4.0.2,
> if you take this repo:
> g...@github.com:benson-basis/cxf-karaf-validation-tc.git
> and checkout the use-cxf-support branch, it will build you a Karaf assembly
> that, when you poke the service (http://localhost:8181/cxf/validate)
> will yield the following backtrace. This assumes that you are up to date with
> my fix to cxf-6705 which is on master and the 3.1.x branch.
