IMHO there might be a possibility to support it such that it does not interfere
with the fine-grained approach supported by CXF. HttpConduit might statically
initialize its properties corresponding to System properties and if a given
client sets a property allowing HttpConduit use the default system properties
then it would act accordingly. Something like that
