I believe the cleanest approach was already suggested, though if you think it 
will affect your users then may be yet another approach is to avoid having the 
server and the client sharing effectively the same bus and inject 
client-specific interceptors into jaxrs:client or jaxws:client declarations.

By the way, how does your configuration look like, the one which leads to the 
issue you are seeing ? Can you type some simplified version here ?
