# Bug Report ## Problem ### What is expected to happen? The latest version of Cordova to be installed. ### What does actually happen? npm ERR! Invalid dependency type requested: alias ## Information <!-- Include all relevant information that might help understand and reproduce the problem --> Simple. I uninstalled my current version of Cordova (v10), and used the command to install the latest version: npm install -g cordova. I can't even settle for version 11 either due to deprecated or missing elements. ### Command or Code <!-- What command or code is needed to reproduce the problem? --> npm install -g cordova ### Environment, Platform, Device <!-- In what environment, on what platform or on which device are you experiencing the issue? --> Command Prompt (Windows 11). ### Version information <!-- What are relevant versions you are using?
