work on a ticket, the ticket says "unassigned" and when I search for available 
tickets

they appear there on the list when they should not.

What do you mean by "cleanup"? I mean that the tickets that are shows as "OPEN",

but they have actually been completed and merged, should be marked as 
"COMPLETED"

so that they don't appear as open and available tickets
