I took the .zip and cleanup the configuration parameters in the
KafkaConfiguration to use constant fields for the option keys and removed the
cyclic barriers logic. Please find the attached updated code. I tested the code
using KafkaConsumerTest class in my local and still we have the same issue in
consumer logic (Runnable).
