Claus Ibsen commented on CAMEL-25636:
-------------------------------------
Fixed in https://github.com/apache/camel/pull/27809
(https://github.com/apache/camel/commit/eea446955b26ee2915e3dacf7ba6d104d7263486)
The label of marshal and unmarshal now shows the name of the data format, such
as {{unmarshal[jackson]}}, instead of the toString of the data format object. A
data format given as an instance uses the name it declares
({{DataFormatName}}), else its class name.

> camel-core - the label of marshal and unmarshal shows the data format object

> The label of a {{marshal}} or {{unmarshal}} step shows the data format object
> instead of its name. {{MarshalDefinition}} and {{UnmarshalDefinition}} build
> their label and {{toString()}} from {{DataFormatDefinition.toString()}},
> which most data formats don't override. So route-structure and the route
> diagrams drawn from it ({{camel cmd route-diagram}}, the {{route-diagram}}
> dev console, the camel-jbang monitor) show:
> {code}
> unmarshal[org.apache.camel.model.dataformat.JsonDataFormat@5a3cf824]
> {code}
> for this step of the fail-well/error-handling example:
> {code}
> - unmarshal:
> json:
> library: Jackson
> {code}
> The label could use the name of the data format instead, such as
> {{unmarshal[json]}}.
> Found while working on CAMEL-25466.
