Sorry to hear about your GitHub issues. That sounds really frustrating. (Is
opening a new GitHub account an option? I know that would be disruptive too.)
I'm always happy to use Jira to discuss cases and PRs. In fact I prefer it.
The only input I need from you is awareness that because we have been ignoring
deprecated methods in Avatica we are now being bitten by it. (I notice that
Hadoop, Spark, Pig have been bitten too.) I think we'll need a new release of
Avatica in a month or so, and we fix all deprecation issues by then.
