This draft is a sibling to draft-ietf-ipsecme-ikev2-diet-esp-extension, in that it defines a separate extension to IKEv2, to permit announcement and management of the DSCP values to be used in an SA.
It also more carefully defines what action to take in certain situations that are not fully specified in RFC 4301. I have reviewed the document, and made several suggestions to the authors, which have been implemented in the edit buffer. In my opinion, this draft is now ready to move forward toward publication.
