I support adoption of draft-colitti-ipsecme-esp-ping, and I support adoption of draft-antony-ipsecme-encrypted-esp-ping. We need both mechanisms, and they do distinct things.
Once adopted, if the WG feels that the documents should be combined, such that we can explain the diagnostics processes that might involve both. (Or rather, when/how to use each) I would be happy to create a merged version and work on the connective text. To do this, we probably need to create a design team that meets online regularly. Doing Syndey/Tokyo/CCET and Ottawa probably means I'm gonna be up at 2am, but that's okay. -- ] Never tell me the odds! | ipv6 mesh networks [ ] Michael Richardson, Sandelman Software Works | network architect [ ] m...@sandelman.ca http://www.sandelman.ca/ | ruby on rails [
