As our charter is now updated, this document is working on the
following charter item:
There is a need for tools that make it easier to debug IPsec
configurations. The working group will work on documents to
help that. One such tool could be the esp-ping protocol.
This email will start three week (because of the IETF meeting next
week) working group adoption call for
draft-antony-ipsecme-encrypted-esp-ping document. If you are in favor
of adopting this document for the initial work document for the PQC
auth work item, reply this email. And especially if you have any
objections adopting this document as base document, reply this email
by explaining your objections.
Note, that this is just adopting the initial document, the working
group is free to make any changes we agree on to the document after
the document is adopted.
