We still have not heard from many.

During the interim meeting, a good question was raised: are we making this 
decision based on implementation desires vs. protocol cleanliness vs. 
deployment ability. We don't have enough input at this point to pick between 
those.

So, let me get this thread going again. If you have an opinion about the core 
issue of how session resumption is done (extend the IKE_SA_INIT or create a new 
exchange type), please state it again and say what draws you to this 
conclusion. This is *not* a vote: it is a request to get the discussion going 
with some hopefully better metrics.
