I am trying to make a commit to fix the darwin build. I found the instructions
https://www.iotivity.org/get-involved/contribution-guidelines, and installed
the commit-hook via curl, and made sure it was executeable.

I got this result:
.git/hooks/commit-msg: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `newline'
.git/hooks/commit-msg: line 1: `<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML
2.0//EN">'

Looking at the commit-msg file it's obvious why it failed, but I need help to
fix.

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
