Indeed, but what are they going to communicate with? What kind of other 
devices will have BTLE OIC support and not WiFi nor 6LoWPAN/Thread?

That's Bluetooth SIG's fault.

Anyway, the point is that this is not an easy topic. There are good reasons to 
do it, but it must be done very, very carefully. And I'd like to know of the 
benefits (the question above).
