Hi everyone,
I hadn't tested the client on Solaris/Sparc for some time and I ran into a somewhat bothering change/regression.
It seems that the code for selecting display resolution has changed quite a bit and the mouse doesn't work in windowed mode (on Solaris, at least) anymore after the initial demo stuff (the red circle remains stuck in upper left corner of the window but I can still skip the demo and or intro video by clicking a mouse button)
Note, that it -does- work using fullscreen mode, though, which on XSun (The Solaris X server) with SDL is pretty much the same because it doesn't change the display resolution.
On Solaris, I'm using a 24'' LCD with 1920x1200 on a Sun Ultra45 workstation. I used to run ioq3 in windowed mode at a somewhat lower resolution (say 1024x768) so I would get decent fps. Now, with the latest SVN (2086 tested) I can only pick 1920x1200 as the only resolution available full-screen mode.
I my q3config file I have these: q3config.cfg:seta r_customPixelAspect "1" q3config.cfg:seta r_customaspect "1" q3config.cfg:seta r_customheight "1024" q3config.cfg:seta r_customwidth "1600" Any hints before I dig into this a little further?
