First, quake3arena.com has only been loading the main idsoftware.com site since May 2002, so I don't think it a big deal if it does die. Second, I doubt it will ever die, companies like to keep their hands on brands forever when possible. You'll note the domain name was just renewed for another year. Finally, all this outage could be explained by several common server/network maintenance tasks or outages. So settle down on the drama before you wet yourself son.
