Probably. Most analogies fall down pretty quickly. I just feel like some of the messages on this thread about technical debt are taking great glee in kicking other people's code, rather than offering to help fix it. Let's talk about how to make this change successful. Let's talk about what tools there are, and what their strengths and limitations are. Let's talk about making people's lives easier now, not punishing them for past mistakes.
