I'm going to cut you off there, and say this one more time: please can you show us an example of how you would like it to look. I have no idea what an "ADOdb datadict" is, so if that's what you're advocating, you'll need to show us what it looks like. Spare the commentary on what decisions we could have made differently 15 years ago, and concentrate on what we can do right now, specifically, for this particular piece of functionality.
