QA and ready builds are important, but why is it tagged after all if it might be retagged if any issues occur? Why isn't it frozen to a specific commit but not tagged (via a public pushed tag) until everything is ready?
I understand that people really want PHP 7, but let's get it out professionally with the release process as always. Regards, Niklas
