I do not see contradictions, everyone who wants to write PHP 5 code, need use DocBlock @var. I hope that in the PHP 7.x, DocBlock is only for documentation of code, all declared types be in the language and not in the comments I would like it to be implemented, not beginning of unnecessary disputes.
