Deprecation is fine and I am sure we will have more until we reach beta. We should reach a real consensus on that. Case like this one are rather obvious, no big deal and we discussed that already, nobody opposed it. Thaat being said, I do agree with Francois here, bigger changes or removals require RFC, no matter how good they are. We must not allow double standards, no matter for who or what.
