I'm not sure we can do that for all of the is_* functions, since is_callable() accepts up to three arguments rather than taking only a single argument like the rest. I'm also still waiting for karma for my wiki account (username: tpunt) to create an RFC for this thread - I don't suppose anyone could help me out there? Thanks,Tom
