In which case, what *should* the implementation be called? That’s actually an important question. I always tend to say “Zend PHP” here, but I’m a little bit uneasy about having Zend in the name. Perhaps “the PHP.net implementation”? “PHP Group implementation”? “PHP reference implementation”?
