hi! While reading both PRs and features requests in bugs.php.net, I would like to strongly suggest to make any new proposal (new features, PRs, etc.), no matter how small, targeting 5.6 or later.
5.5 will go in beta soon and we have already enough new things to debug and test. Adding more stuff will only delay 5.5 even more (keeping in mind the possible O+ addition).
