I wasn't talking about our abilities, but about our 'outsideness'. Yes, it is/was a closed source component, but it's by the same people that have written a huge deal of PHP's scripting engine. I'd would of course prefer that we evaluate the proposal based on the substance and not on other factors, but that said, I fully respect your position and wouldn't hold it against you if you vote 'no'...
