I agree — I actually was hoping to update the RFC post-discussion to reflect what had been discussed, but I've had a bit of a perfect storm of problems this week that have prevented me from putting any real time into PHP matters. I can have a look at revising the RFC on the weekend, but if you or someone else wanted to summarise the main "no" position and insert it before that, I'd have absolutely no objections.
