HiI provide a patch (bug #61921) that modify ldap_parse_result and ldap_set_option to return and accept ASN.1-like array for server/client controls. This patch decodes ber value according to API defined in http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-ldapext-ldap-c-api-05.txt
It should not break existing code.
