Just as long as we can just carry on ignoring that rule if we want to ...
And I don't have to worry about major libraries slipping this in and screwing up 'old fashioned php' systems.

Heck - PLEASE can we have an off switch ... although I'd rather you just dropped the whole thing! If I see a <? I know it's PHP and with all the <% I'm having to work with it's nice to KNOW it's php ...
