 Which is why, for instance, PHPUnit today is full of code like this

   public function foo($flag)
   {
       if (!is_bool($flag)) {
           throw new InvalidArgumentException(/* ... */);
       }
   }

 This is the type of code that I want to get rid off using scalar type
 hints.
