Sure. But your proposal introduces a couple of new ways to accomplish
what you can already do today. Judging from my own (limited) experience,
the more ways to do one thing, the more errors and confusion creep in
your code. This is the opposite of productiveness.

No need to tell me there's already plenty of examples in php of this
feature creep in php. They just raise the bar for yet another feature to
get in.

It isn't. You don't need to have your php files in a directory that's
served by your webserver, if that's what you're thinking.

You know, I love coding in vim. And it makes it actually *harder* to
remember the dozen of ways you can implement your idea.

Please focus dev energy on something already in the works for the next
big release. Thanks.
