Well that only means we need to make sure that developers know about stuff like 
this. Do we need an (irregular) newsletter to inform people? I mean we have had 
this problem as well with commit freezes, but there it was actually a bigger 
problem. If we do stick with the wiki for now .. then all that needs to happen 
is to inform relevant developers once .. and nothing breaks if they do not know 
about it at a fixed date .. like with a commit freeze.

In other words, the problem might exist, but its solvable and is unrelated to 
using a branch or not.
