Hi! I have critical (no, not PHP-language critical) patches which I think need to get into 5.3.0.
I found _39_ missing php.ini-both entries, and some missing deprecated entries for the UPGRADING file. See "my notes" at: http://pastebin.com/d7aa19753 I haven't "wasted" time on finding out wtf these ini entries actually do, or even asked philip or gwynne to fix the inglés.. but if there is even a remote chance it'll make it into 5.3.0 I'll do whatever it takes to make it understandable. -Hannes On a related note; I am very disappointed in you all. Adding features that only _you_ know about is totally worthless, and in fact can be _harmful_, if you don't tell people about it. No. I am not talking about the xx/xxx people that show up to your talk on a random conference. I am talking about the hundred of thousands that don't read your cool blog. If you truly want to help the _community_ you know where to find us. Lukas/Johannes: I am really sorry for the extreme late notice.. happ shittens :( In my defense, last January I started threatening Johannes with stick beating if noone did anything for the docs, and since noone really understands the impact of f.e. mysqlnd I will be beating him with a stick(-ish object) when I meet him... -- PHP Internals - PHP Runtime Development Mailing List To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
