will the deprecation of ticks affect the usage of pcntl_signal? The manual says [1] "... As of PHP 4.3.0 PCNTL uses ticks as the signal handle callback mechanism ...". Current practice requires to "declare(ticks = 1);" for pcntl_signal to work.
