I wonder if you could enlight us, why you hate ext/mysql? Do you believe the urban legend that smaller .exe/.dll are loaded faster? Maybe you have never heard of shared code segments... Every readable only segment is shared on windows. So there is only one copy of the .dll/.exe loaded for ALL processes using it...
