While I absolutely appreciate your effort to improve PHP's Solaris support (which is not in the best shape atm), I have to say that we usually do not give CVS accounts right away. CVS account is not necessary for sending patches and discussing them in the list, which is the best way to make yourself known to the community. Btw, I believe discussion would be required in most cases since Solaris problems affect quite major parts of PHP.
