I used it under cygwin and works well as far as I can tell (be sure to
use the latest). Having a cvs bridge can help too, both to test builds
(not only on windows) or to provide patches.

At the moment, SVN is a pain in the ass when it comes to merging, but
they claim that it's fixed in 1.5...

Did they not claim that SVN was perfect for such tasks in 1.0? ;-)
