At the risk of boring you, I'll repeat: 'Hmm.... I'm not familiar with PEAR
code base, but I can appreciate it's had more love than the others.'
Basically the PEAR codebase is an updated and upgrade version of the
PECL codebase, shouldn't be too complicated to do

'link to bug', it was 'create bug report'. For maintenance fixes only.'
