Hi, I would like to propose "Support for Mutation Testing in PHPUnit" [1] as an idea for this year's Google Summer of Code.
I doubt that the PHPUnit project itself could take part as a mentoring organization. This is why I hope to get this project idea in under the umbrella of the PHP project. An argument in favour of this might be the fact that the implementation could use the parse_tree extension that was implemented during last year's GSoC.
