Hi Andrey,
where one can post some code snippets related to PHP development in C, from which some people later can benefit? Anyone aware?
Both Sara and I were thinking of setting one up last year, but neither of us did so in the end. (Sara had space she was thinking of using for it; I was planning to make space on www.zend.com, which I no longer have access to as content from there is now gradually being moved over to the new devzone.zend.com site).
There were concerns that hosting patches on zend.com or php.net would lend patches an air of authority they didn't actually have, and would thereby contribute towards making PHP less portable. Another issue was that developers wanted to be able to update their patches, and possibly have different versions for different PHP versions - a simple PAT-type directory wouldn't have been enough for their needs. Really you'd need something like a CVS or SVN server in place to provide that facility.
