I agree with you 100%. My ISP gives me SSH, and the php|mysql box is all localhost anyway. If my ISP was not giving me SSH, I'd have been long-gone. But some of my CLIENTS' ISPs do not; and I am not able to convince them to abandon their wonderful ISP...
